INTELLIGENCE
System
Optimize your environment. Transform your biology.
L'OR is an environmental intelligence practice that diagnoses and redesigns the conditions inside homes, workspaces and institutional spaces to measurably improve the health of the people inside them.
The practice applies an eleven-factor framework — integrating air, water, light, acoustic, thermal, materials, electromagnetic, spatial, visual, movement and biophilic conditions against WHO, ASHRAE, EPA, EU and Bauökologie standards — on the basis that indoor environmental conditions are among the longest-running modifiable inputs to human health, and that addressing them as an integrated system produces better outcomes than any single-factor intervention.
Engagements range from a $295 online diagnostic, through a six-month guided program in which the client commissions the work, to full-service delivery in which L'OR designs the system and oversees implementation end-to-end through a vetted partner network.
The practice has produced sample engagements at a Tribeca duplex residence and a forty-room boutique hotel, operates with vendor-neutral economics in which contractor invoices pass through at cost, and maintains offices in New York and Vienna from 2027.
L’OR is an environmental system that recalibrates interior spaces through meticulous control of air, water, products, and sensory factors to actively support health and longevity. L’OR stands for L’Ordonnance - a prescription for the environment - where every component is intentionally chosen and precisely calibrated to serve wellbeing. Each project begins with a Diagnostic Reset that maps exposures across air, water, products, and sensory conditions, establishing a clear baseline. From that baseline, targeted interventions reduce dust, mold, microplastics, chemical residues, and sources of environmental imbalance. Air is balanced to promote respiratory health. Water is controlled to ensure purity and safety. Products are refined to eliminate harmful constituents. Sensory conditions are reduced to foster restorative calm. Movement is uninterrupted by obstacles or stressors. The result is an environment that is healthy, intentional, and peaceful. L’OR does not add layers; it removes what interferes. Your space and surroundings become optimally aligned with your health, lifestyle, and long-term resilience.
HOW L’OR WORKS
L’OR operates across six environmental systems: AIR, WATER, STRUCTURAL, TEXTILE, SENSORY and AESTHETIC.
These systems are regulated through a single control layer EXPOSURE CONTROL, that reduces cumulative exposure.
L’OR aligns the spaces where you live and work with your health. Through collaboration with architects, designers, artists, laboratories, and specialized partners, we transform environments into healthier, more stable, and purposefully designed places. Our method integrates evidence-based standards and aesthetic refinement so your surroundings actively support physical well-being, cognitive clarity, and long-term resilience. Experience a space optimized for health - functional, beautiful, and sustainably aligned with your life’s needs.
